The zip file contains all performance material (soundfiles) and instructions for performance and rehearsal
Amplification
The flute should be miked on the flute itself, ideally with three microphones, at least with two. Overhead microphones should be avoided, independently of the quality. Amplification should be generous, on the limit of feedback. The player should be able to perform the ppp passages really quite and be sure to be heard.
Tape
The tape consists of a stereo soundfile. When performing in a concert situation (without exciters), two loudspeakers should be used. The left channel should be routed to a loudspeaker next to the player, the right channel to a loudspeaker outside the room.
If performing with exciters (the preferred way), either both channels should be mixed and projected to metal bars (to be listened dentally), or just the left channel should be routed to the metal bars and the right channel projected to a loudspeaker far away.
